October 2024 was our first World Space Week event. Sponsored by Lockheed Martin Australia, the Australian Space Diversity Alliance brought together 

amazing speakers: Julia Dickinson (Lockheed Martin Australia), Chloe Chang (Lunar Outpost Oceania / ELO2), Peter Moar (Swinburne University of Technology /Engineers Australia), Rachel Ong (BAE Systems Australia/ Aviation/Aerospace Australia), and our fantastic MC, Jacqui Tyack from the Diversity Alliance.

June 2024 saw a panel of experts share their thoughts on Skills and creating a sustainable space workforce. Prof Virginia Kilborn, Swinburne University of Technology, Rick Doblanovic, C4 Space, Assoc Prof Gail Iles, RMIT University, Peta Kenny, Victorian Space Science Education Centre (VSSEC) sponsored by Aviation Aerospace Australia, in a panel moderated by Jenny Mitchell, Engineers Australia. 

Our additional speaker sponsored by RMIT, Prof Dr Zaffar Sadiq Mohamed-Ghouse, Chair of United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management Private Sector Network shared more on Space and Spatial Victoria.
